The Mahatma Gandhi Central University is a public central university established by an Act of Parliament under the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014. The permanent campus of the University is located at Motihari, District East Champaran, Bihar. Named after the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, the University strives to uphold the values of truth, non-violence, and inclusive development through quality higher education.
