About Mahatma Gandhi Central University
Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), situated at Motihari in East Champaran, Bihar, is a Central University established by the Government of India through the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014. The University is dedicated to providing quality education while promoting the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, including social harmony, ethical values, and sustainable development.
MGCU offers a wide range of academic programmes across disciplines such as Management, Commerce, Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Media Studies. Through innovative teaching, research activities, and skill-oriented learning, the University aims to prepare students for academic excellence and professional success.
